About This Course

Pastors are not merely caregivers — they are governmental agents of the King, placed within the Body to establish the culture, order, and atmosphere of Heaven. CGI teaches that pastoral ministry is a governmental function, not a volunteer role. God entrusts them with people, families, and communities as part of His Kingdom administration.

This course, Kingdom Foundations for Pastoral Ministry, is designed to equip emerging lay pastors, ministry leaders, and Kingdom ambassadors with the biblical foundations, pastoral mindset, and practical tools necessary to shepherd people toward freedom, maturity, and Kingdom identity. It integrates biblical theology, Kingdom government, and practical pastoral tools, while drawing from the pastoral paradigm taught in the Basic Training for Pastoral Ministry series by Sozo Church SMTX. 



COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Understand pastoral ministry as a Kingdom Government assignment.

  • Prophetically discern identity, potential, and destiny in the people they shepherd.

  • Create safe, emotionally healthy, Kingdom‑aligned environments for transformation.

  • Shepherd hearts with compassion, presence, and emotional intelligence

  • Identify and dismantle lies, strongholds, and false identities.

  • Lead people from confession to repentance, and from repentance to transformation.

  • Walk people through healing, deliverance, and freedom using Kingdom tools.

  • Use hope as a weapon of spiritual warfare.

  • Guide people into new spiritual jurisdictions.

  • Understand that Deliverance is part of Kingdom administration.

  • Ask Spirit‑led questions that reveal root issues rather than symptoms.

  • Confront with love, restore with grace, and maintain healthy boundaries.

  • Communicate truth with clarity, compassion, and authority.
  • Build trust and credibility through consistent pastoral presence.
  • Lead individuals and groups toward maturity, alignment, and Kingdom purpose.
