COURSE OVERVIEW

This course explores prophetic ministry from Genesis to Revelation, contrasting Old Testament and New Testament prophetic functions, clarifying what prophecy is and is not, and grounding students in biblical standards, Kingdom Government identity, and healthy prophetic practice. It integrates insights from Susanne Maynes’ Prophetic Ministry Foundations (Lessons 1–8).


COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course, students will:

  • Understand prophetic ministry within the framework of Christ’s Kingdom Government.

  • Distinguish between Old Testament prophets and New Testament prophetic ministry.

  • Identify the purpose, boundaries, and fruit of true prophecy.

  • Discern between true and false prophetic expressions.

  • Practice prophetic ministry with grace, humility, and love.

  • Evaluate prophetic words biblically and responsibly.

  • Recognize the role of prophecy in the edification of the Church (1 Cor. 14:3).

  • Develop confidence in hearing and responding to the Holy Spirit.
